ONH (optical nerve head) view

The ONH view displays ONH “cup” and “disc” outlines as encoded in the DICOM data. The view includes the following viewports:

  • An MPR image or an SLO image with cup and disc outlines is shown in the main (top-left) viewport. For details on switching between an SLO and an MPR image, see Enface MPR.
  • Cross-sections of the OCT scan with cup and disc annotations are shown in two additional MPR viewports (bottom-left and top-right).
  • A measurement table is shown in the bottom-right viewport.

The SLO image identifies the relative anatomical position of the cross-sectional viewports. Reference lines cross-correlate the focal point in each cross-sectional viewport with the corresponding reference point on the SLO. The red outline on the SLO is the disc and the green outline on the SLO is the cup.

You can adjust the cup and disc outlines in the SLO (for details, see Edit layer boundaries and cup/disc outlines). You can also edit the study result by moving the RPE endpoints and redrawing parts of the ILM line. If the results are edited, the cup and disc outlines are updated and metrics derived from the DICOM data are recalculated.

The signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) is shown beside the SLO image if available in the original scan.
